The Brietagne delegation, whose head office is in Brest, has just over 60 members spread over the four Breton departments and sometimes even beyond.
Our volunteers have very different profiles: setting up and coordinating projects, electrical knowledge, training, writing and communication, seeking funding, relationships with partners, etc. They meet regularly according to their activities and during plenary meetings organised two to three times a year.
We carry out development projects in Africa and Haiti, promoting access to water and electricity in the areas of health, education and economic micro-development. Several of our members were involved in post-emergency missions, particularly in Haiti and Saint Martin following the 2017 hurricane. We also put our expertise at the service of other international huminatarian players and operate in the Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, the Philippines and even Niger.
The delegation is involved locally with primary schools, as part of the partnership with Recylum to raise children’s awareness of international cooperation. It is a partner of the Festival du Bout du Monde in Crozon and regularly participates in events organised by local authorities, high schools or local businesses to showcase their activities.
All volunteers are welcome; everyone can find their place in a spirit of conviviality by being assured of permanent support to undertake their projects within Electriciens sans frontières.

Committing as volunteer is at the heart of the Electriciens sans frontières’ associative model. For more than 30 years, the 14 delegations have carried out the NGO’s projects.

The Haitian Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has initiated and piloted a programme for the installation of 500 interactive digital boards in schools throughout the country. The provision of the boards and the training of teachers for their use are provided by the Franco-haitian Haïti Futur association. The installation of solar-powered electricity supply systems is the responsibility of Electriciens sans frontières, who will provide services to Haitian companies.

The Alsace delegation has around 40 members and covers two departments: Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin. We are currently carrying out numerous projects at different stages of implementation. We welcome all those of good will motivated by international humanitarian cooperation, come and join us!
