We have the honor of sending you the Electriciens sans frontières 2023 annual report and its Essentiel 2023. First and foremost, we would like to express our deep gratitude for your unfailing support. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to carry out essential actions on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable populations.
The year 2023 was marked by many challenges and achievements. This report highlights some of the highlights of our efforts to provide universal access to electricity and drinking water.
2023: a year of intense mobilization on 4 continents
- Ukraine, Morocco, Turkey/Syria and Palestine: in each of these territories, we have deployed teams to install solar equipment or simply send materials to the worst-affected areas, helping to restore access to electricity for many families and communities.
- Benin, Senegal, Rwanda, Guinea Conakry, Mexico … in each of these countries, we have worked alongside other international solidarity players to “help those who help” through our expertise projects.
- Burkina Faso, Haiti, Nepal, Togo, Madagascar, … In each of these regions, we have guaranteed access to reliable, sustainable and modern energy services through our development projects.
2023: a year of growth
For several years now, our institutional backers and patrons have been entrusting us with increasingly substantial funding, in addition to the indispensable support of our individual donors. This support, proof of the relevance of our actions, is essential to our activity and independence, and consolidates our means of action.
2023: a year of visibility
Several of our NGO’s electricity and water access solutions have been highlighted and recognized at international events: COP 28, High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development organized by theUN in New York, or the the International Workshop of the Francophone Network of Energy Regulators organized by Regulaer.fr in Kinshasa.
These actions, made possible thanks to your support, demonstrate the direct impact of your generosity on the lives of the communities we serve. Every donation, every gesture of solidarity, helps transform lives and build a more sustainable and equitable future.
