Based in Nantes, the Pays de la Loire delegation has around 80 volunteers.
Our members come from diverse professional backgrounds and have very different skills: writing press releases, finding financial partners, organising events, logistical coordination, preparing meetings within the delegation, welcoming new members, setting up projects, etc.
All these activities are complementary and allow us to carry out many projects.
We regularly carry out development and expertise projects and have a pool of volunteers ready to respond to a humanitarian emergency. Our goal is to make access to electricity and water a factor of human and economic development for the poorest populations.
Our local roots lead us to work in close collaboration with local communities, companies and associations working for international cooperation.
Beyond our monthly plenary meetings, we participate in public events such as Rendez-Vous de l’Ordre, Noël Equitable and Green Week, and organise a big festive event per year.
We welcome all volunteers motivated by humanitarian aid and we make sure that all volunteers are supported in the actions that they wish to carry out at Electriciens sans frontières.

Committing as volunteer is at the heart of the Electriciens sans frontières’ associative model. For more than 30 years, the 14 delegations have carried out the NGO’s projects.

Electrifying the high school directly contributes to food security and to the improvement of learning conditions for both students and teaching staff. Moreover, by working closely with SAUREA and local players, Electriciens sans frontières contributes to the development of reasoned/sensible and sustainable solutions.

The Alsace delegation has around 40 members and covers two departments: Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin. We are currently carrying out numerous projects at different stages of implementation. We welcome all those of good will motivated by international humanitarian cooperation, come and join us!

We carry out projects mainly in African countries but our volunteers are also involved in emergency and post-emergency situations.

Our volunteers have very different skills: setting up and coordinating projects, electrical knowledge, training, writing and communication, seeking funding, relationships with partners, etc.

The countries where we intervene include: Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Togo. The delegation is also involved locally by leading awareness-raising activities in primary schools.
