Assessment of the solidarity energy week challenge

Last week was the Energy Solidarity Week!

The objective of this week: to put under the spotlight the problems of access to electricity and water by proposing to as many people as possible to collectively take up the challenge of reaching the distance between Paris and Ouagadougou (in Burkina Faso) and Ouagadougou and Yaoundé (in Cameroon), that is to say a total of 4074 km + 2125 km.

Partners, volunteers, individuals, sponsors, alone or with family/friends/colleagues, athletes or not, from the youngest to the oldest, dozens of people were mobilized to meet the challenge!

This unprecedented wave of solidarity allowed us to exceed by far the 6199 km necessary to reach Yaoundé since the counter now shows more than 9000 km!!!

The participants innovated: walking, hiking, running, cycling, rollerblading, canoeing, all means were good to accumulate the precious kilometers!
